Mahsa Majidi
Life and Educations
Born in Tehran, Mahsa Majidi graduated from Science and Research Branch of Tehran university with a PhD degree in architecture. After gaining her professional experience in offices in Iran and Dubai, she established the Design Studio “Persian Garden Studio” in 2001. In the last 20 years Persian Garden Studio has completed different types and scales of projects, with emphasized recognition of concept, details and psychological aspects of architecture and urban planning. In the last few years most of her attention is focused towards urban regeneration research, studies and practice in Tehran. Her last project, Hanna Boutique Hotel, was recognized internationally in WAN award receiving the gold award for adaptive reuse as well as a nomination in WAF awards.
